Boozy ice cream? That’s so cool! How much alcohol is actually in each pint?

Cheers to great minds that think alike! We’re pretty obsessed with our spirited treat as well. Technically, we are a liquor-infused frozen custard with up to 2% Alcohol by Volume. What does that mean for you? We are technically lighter than a light beer per serving. We emphasize sophisticated flavors, balanced pairings, and a creamy delicious boozy frozen custard in every bite. (And if you’re looking for a little extra, may we suggest pouring an extra shot on top? Classy and delicious).

Will this get you drunk? / How much do i have to eat to get drunk?

While we applaud your enthusiasm, our focus is above all else, on flavor. We’ve crafted delicious flavor pairings and local mix-ins and spirits into one delicious pint with balance, and sophisticated tastes on the forefront of our tongues. Whether you’re going for a single scoop or the whole pint, you’ll be full and happy. We do contain real alcohol with 2% Alcohol by Volume in each pint.

What’s the difference between frozen custard and ice cream?

If you’re from the MidWest, Upstate NY, or have ever been to Culver’s, then you likely already know the joys of frozen custard. But for those who have yet to be introduced, it would be our joy for your first scoop to be Creme de Liqueur’s frozen custard! The biggest difference is that frozen custard has to be made with a certain amount of egg yolk whereas ice cream does not. Some ice cream may have egg in it, but that does not necessarily mean it is a frozen custard. We are proud to have a high butterfat, rich and creamy, frozen custard made even more delicious with a touch of distilled spirits.

Are you local?

We proudly started this company from local beginnings in Massachusetts and Wisconsin. Most of our flavors are made with spirits from local distillers or mix-ins from local and regional food businesses. You can see a full list of our local partners here.  

Is your frozen custard gluten-free or nut-free?

Our liquor-infused frozen custard is made in a facility that processes, wheat, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts & soy. We do our best to avoid cross-contamination but can not guarantee gluten-free or nut free. Please refer to our full ingredient list for questions around allergens.

Do you have any dairy-free or vegan boozy ice cream flavors?

We are proud to say we do offer a few dairy-free liquor-infused sorbets! Our dairy-free Margarita Sorbet, Lemon Drop Sorbet, and Blueberry Gin Smash sorbet are made from our dairy-free base. As we grow, we are hoping to make this flavor more readily available at retailers near you.
