Boozy ice cream? That’s so cool! How much alcohol is actually in each pint?

Cheers to great minds that think alike! We’re pretty obsessed with our spirited treat as well. Our frozen custard is infused with up to 2% Alcohol by Volume (ABV). We focus on sophisticated flavor pairings and a smooth, creamy texture that’s both indulgent and unique. Looking for a stronger kick? Some of our fans enjoy adding a splash of their favorite spirit on top.

So, can I give this to kids?

This is an ADULTS ONLY treat as it contains real alcohol. Sold to adults 21 and over.

Will this get you drunk? / How much do I have to eat to get drunk?

While we applaud your enthusiasm, our focus is above all else on flavor. We’ve crafted delicious flavor pairings and local mix-ins and spirits into one delicious pint with balance and sophisticated tastes on the forefront of our tongues. Whether you’re going for a single scoop or the whole pint, you’ll be full and happy. We do contain real alcohol with 2% Alcohol by Volume in each pint.

What’s the difference between frozen custard and ice cream?

If you’re from the Midwest or Upstate NY, then you likely already know the joys of frozen custard. But for those who have yet to be introduced, it would be our joy for your first scoop to be Crème de Liqueur's frozen custard! Frozen custard contains a higher percentage of egg yolk than traditional ice cream, resulting in a denser, creamier texture. While some ice cream may include eggs, that doesn’t make it custard. Ours is a true frozen custard — with high butterfat content and a rich base — made even more indulgent by the addition of premium spirits.

Are you a local company?

Yes! We proudly started this company from local beginnings in Massachusetts and Wisconsin. Many of our ingredients are sourced from regional distilleries and small food producers. You can see a full list of our local partners here.  

Is your frozen custard gluten-free or nut-free?

Our products are made in a facility that processes wheat, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy. While we take care to minimize cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our frozen custard is free from allergens. Please refer to individual ingredient lists for more detailed information.

Do you have any dairy-free or vegan boozy ice cream flavors?

Yes. We offer several dairy- and egg-free, liquor-infused sorbets, including Margarita Sorbet, Lemon Drop Sorbet, and Blueberry Gin Smash. These are made with a non-dairy base and are vegan-friendly. As we grow, we aim to expand availability at retailers in more regions.
